Hey!! Today is a pretty exiting day we began editing a little portion of our project! We began editing and so far one of our favorite parts is what is yet to be the credit sequence the scenes for it I our opinion turned out really great along with the editing and special effect we are liking it a lot so far.  As we where recording our project and we began editing our main character Juandi noticed we were having struggle picking a copyright free music that we felt matched our project so him being a musician himself recorded a piano song he made he felt would be fit for the project which was ideal for us! We are super greatful and super exited about finishing editing and seeing the final product! I will insert the video he sent us with his song and how the credit sequence is looking so far!

 Detailed Explanation of Recording Process

Heyy Blog!! Today I will be going in detail into how our actual recording of the scenes went down. We began by recording the back shot of Naty and Juandi sitting down on the couch followed by him getting up to go to the bathroom we dedicated a lot of time into the bathroom scene and we were still not fully satisfied with it. It was first having to put the fake blood on it and then helping Juandi understand the way we wanted it to look like. We then had to re shoot it once we were all done because we realized you could see me recording the shots in the mirror which was pretty frustrating. We then moved on to filming Naty prepping the knifes and then the arguments. The clips which are going to be used for the credit sequence came out super natural we hadn’t planned yet how we wanted that to fully look and as were were organizing everything back and blowing the candle the idea came which was amazing because it turned out just like we wanted it to.

Hello Blog! Today I decided to have a fun interactive way of showing our process. I created a video blog along with that I will also be showing how the mini "movie" we created to be in the background showing how it ended up looking like! The movie as I mentioned before had some struggles so we added editing in which I will also upload the original version to show the difference these editing made on the way the its shown specially when projected on tv.

Set Up For Filming

Hello Blog! Today we finally filmed our project!! We were originally filming in natys house however last minute we ended up having to film at mine. We began by filming the movie we would be playing on the tv in which we used a morphe palet for the makeup which we later put on Annie's neck we then headed over to the garage where we applied the fake blood  we had to be very careful so we could make sure we got no stain. After applying naty and the main guy character we used Juandi.  We began filming tried different angles however when we finally saw it we didn’t exactly love how it turned out. We decided to edit it by lowering exposure making some adjustment to the picture and sharpens along with making it black and white. This made it turn out exactly how we initially wanted it. We then headed over to my living room turned down all the curtain set cancels all over the living room along with turning off all of the lights. We took like 10 minutes trying to figure out how to project it in the tv but we ended up figuring it out!

Building Character/ Changes & Fixes

 Since our recording struggle I decided to do more research on the main character building of the guy. I have mentioned multiple times on the blog how I view the female character and want to build her vibe and character through setting and mise-en-scene. So today I will be discussing how I want him to be. I want him to be wearing neutral colors. To represent his personality along with his calmness. The backstory for him is not going to be too deep he was craving companionship which is why he got into the relationships he never suspected much about her until then. Obviously she's the main focus of the film opening but he is too because he is the one that's going to discover her secret. Because of her fascination with horror films which is going to be represented at the beginning. I also need to make a quick fix in the script which is that we had discussed with our teacher to take away the knock so the film opening doesn't look too concluded. 

Struggles

Hey Blog! Today is not the best :( We have encountered our first major filming problem. Our main boy cast had a family issues and for the moment can not record. We are extremely saddened by this and it had unfortunately pushed our filming process back!! We have been working so hard and preparing for this that its really difficult however we have found a replacement for him incase he is completely unable to film anytime soon but it was also a reality check that not always things will go great! We are saddened that we will be behind on filming but sure that we will succeed and get back on track soon! I know its not the best news but we will learn from this and realize lots important to have backup plan and patience because not everything will go right always.

 Heyy Blog! Today in class me and my teammates discussed as little of the changes we wanna include in our set. We researched on some places where we could get accessories and this is the list on some of the things we planned!

1. Retractable Fake Knife( Just in case we decided to include something with it)

2.Candles, Chandeliers to set mood and create that mystical vibe

-Im bringing them from my house!

3. Colored accessories like books or extra items

-Dollar Tree

4. Fake Blood 

-Thankfully our teacher had some and let us borrow it for the project which is super helpful because we will be using it for the "movie" inside the film opening.
